    I resolved using slock from the suckless-tools in combination with xautolock.

    Upgrading to bookworm fixed the issue through a newer version of Fish...

    I found the culprit and was this line:
     
    lock directory = /var/cache/samba  
    For testing I created "/var/cache/samba/locks" but it didn't work either...

    Therefore for the moment I commented it to make the smbd,service working...
