x96mini (2G RAM, 16Gemmc) no output on serial console

Hi,

 

I bought x96mini with 2G RAM and 16G emmc and booting to android works fine. I want to run armbian on it so I followed this post: https://blog.danman.eu/bricking-and-unbricking-vontar-x96-mini/ to solder serial console.  Aftre plugging to pc and starting minicom I cannot see any info out of serial console. Does anybody experience similar or something else must be done to have output on serial console? Thanks a lot. Marek

Resolved, I need to solder 0ohm resistors on pad to have UART working -> maybe it will help someone in future also ;)

If you see test points close to RX, TX there are 2 pads which needs to be shortcut (with 0ohm resistor) to have RX, TX signals on test points.
