hey, it is nearly everything said in the title. I want to use my cubietruck for playing streamed videos on my beamer. I don'T want to take my pc to the living room everytime i want to watch tv on my beamer, so i hope, there is a way to get the cubietruck working with vlc mediaplayer. Any tipps?

Cubietruck (or any other A20 device) is not recommended for media player. But if you insist of using this hardware than grab latest official Android image. (never really tested but I think it should work fine)

the A20 video features are only working good via sunxi-vdpau

and mplayer or vdr with softhd-device

 

VDR can play streams with the iptv-plugin
