Sorry, shouldn't sound too harsh. But I don't see that we'll support those devices anytime soon. Octa-core sounds nice but in reality they're pretty slow (broken thermal design) especially considering IO bandwidth (here CT+ is way better than Banana Pi M3 but still they use this horribly slow USB-to-SATA bridge for whatever reasons).

 

So in case you already bought this device then good luck: https://github.com/cubieboard/Cubietruck_Plus-kernel-source/issues/2  (the funny 'rootmydevice' local privileges escalation is still not fixed by CubieTech in their OS images)

 

BTW: I updated docs accordingly a minute ago
