This issue is produced on both flavors of Linux for the orange pi zero i.e. Debian and Ubuntu. 

 

I am trying to login to pi zero using the serial terminal. First time it asks me to change the password, which I changed. Then using that changed password I tried to login into it. However, whenever I enter the password in it. it restarts. I even used the external high power phone charger to test this issue but in both cases result was same. 

 

Any solution to this problem? 

What about user creation? If you repeat the same username than in one of the failed attempt, this happen. However, this whole procedure is about to be change in upcoming release since it proves to makes troubles for some users.

One options is also failed SD card.
