Cubietruck + 4.2.3 Vanilla kernel doesn't boot from SATA

Featured Replies

I have root partition on SATA drive (/dev/sda1). I tried to use vanilla kernel, but it doesn't boot and even doesn't show HDMI output (I set root=/dev/sda1 in boot.cmd and recompiled boot.scr of course).

But the legacy kernel with the same configuration works. Any suggestions why?

Do you have any USB key attached?

no. only microsd with the boot directory and SATA with the root directory

It was my bad. I used old sdcard partition and didn't install latest uboot. After I installed latest uboot into sdcard - everything works fine.
