NanoPi Neo with Armbian 5.27 Xenial: No serial connection?

Featured Replies

Don't quite know what to expect here. The download page implies that there should be a gadget serial connection but there is nothing. I don't even see the USB DRC getting registered. Is this a known issue and is there a solution?

The download page info is for the legacy kernel based images.

You can check the "malinining effort" status for OTG support and compare it to your kernel version. It may work, but it most likely wasn't activated and tested on all boards.

@zador.blood.stained hello and thanks.

I did not realise those notes applied to legacy kernel only. OTG works using Arabian dev for some H3 boards but not others. No obvious rhyme or reason.
