Hi.

 

I've been using my Cubietruck for some time now without any issues. It is not directly connected to the outside world and is only used for some home automation. It boots via SD -> the SSD and has an internal battery as UPS.

Really happy with it.

 

Last year I migrated from Wheezy to Jessi so now I am at: ARMBIAN Debian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie) 3.4.109-sunxi

 

I still receive the updates via ap-get update && upgrade, however should I be updating major like kernel?

As this thing is used for home automation I am not looking forward to large down times. ;-)
