Couldn't boot 26.5.1 on Orange Pi 5 Plus from SD

Featured Replies

I wasn't able to boot from my SD after flashing either `Armbian_26.5.1_Orangepi5-plus_trixie_vendor_6.1.115_minimal` or `Armbian_26.5.1_Orangepi5-plus_resolute_vendor_6.1.115_gnome_desktop` to it.

I would get a red power light, but none of the others.

I was finally able to boot `Armbian_25.8.1_Orangepi5-plus_noble_vendor_6.1.115_gnome_desktop` after grabbing it from archive.armbian.com, but I'm wondering what the problem may have been? I'd like to get onto the latest Armbian but of course don't want to start having boot issues all over again.

Edit: Looks like I may have run into this known issue: https://github.com/armbian/build/issues/9897

It appears there's a fixed image available for now while the issue gets resolved properly: https://github.com/jeffcrouse/orangepi5plus-armbian-image
