It case "almighty" configurator fails, you need to proceed to manual. This is not a 100% bulletproof solution.

1. Debian Stretch and kernel 4.14.y are both considered testing. To find bugs, you need at least to provide logs (armbianmonitor -u) 

2. This I do not understand at all. What you did that this happened, on desktop or CLI?

 

@Igorcan ya point me downlink link for 5.20 and above version. I have 5.20 which is pretty stable but when i sudo apt-get update and upgrade. It upgrades its kernel which gives a bootloop.so i need older version.

Will ubuntu current stable  version be stable after upgrading its kernel  to 4.1 whatever mainline it is.

Modern kernel for H3/H5/A64 is labeled "testing" since nobody can't guarantee that is stable at this point. It is the first kernel, that we will try to make stable. This was not the case with previous versions. They were all development.

Many thanks for supporting board. Iam happy with 5.20 with holding kernel update. I wish someone point me how to get rid of dirty cow bug without updating kernel?
