I tried to install libvdpau-sunxi and compile mpv from source but it is not working on Armbian 5.05. I got sluggish video playback. Need to fix and open a ticket on libvdpau-sunxi, I guess it is for 3.4.9 kernel. 

 

Interestingly when I use the mpv binary that Armbian already supplies everything works correctly. And before opening tickets somewhere I would first have a look what more experienced developers are doing, i.e.: http://linux-sunxi.org/User:Rellla/Armbian
