Headless Installation Orange Pi Zero and Opi 2

Featured Replies

Hi

Somehow iam not able to sucessfull setup a headless installation. I tested it with Orange Pi Zero (256mb rm) and Opi 2. I used the Armbian Stretch Image from the website, flashed it with Etcher. Modified before the first boot, the file /boot/armbian_first_run.txt.template to /boot/armbian_first_run.txt (and the content in it).

When i start one of the devices, they never connect to the router (no matter how long i wait)

Do i have to specify anything from the last branch (static ip...) if i have dhcp on in my router (i dont think so). Should i write the wifi keys in '' or just plain text?

I connected the OPi 2 to a display and keyboard than i was able to connect him manually to my Wifi. But the config file seems simply not to work.
