I have an ASUS Tinker board S and I installed Armbian 5.54.

 

How can I increase the default ( 1 GB ) swap space ?

This is compressed memory type of swap and calculated upon boards memory. Why on earth do you want to increase this?

 

It is not recommended to increase this type of SWAP if you don't know what you are doing ... but you can add a normal and downgrade your system to horribly slow swap file. Google can tell you how. https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/linux-add-a-swap-file-howto/
