OV5647 Camera modprobe error Orange pi lite

Featured Replies

Hi i have a problem trying to load the drivers of this camera, could you help me?

Issue: mobprobe: FATAL: Module ov5647 not found in directory /lib/modules/4.14.84-sunix

Board: Orange Pi Lite
Camera sensor: OV5647 fisheye
OS: Ubuntu - Armbian 5.65

But i don't know how to install sun6i_csi and OV5647

You need to enable both the Sunxi CSI and the OV5647 drivers in the kernel configuration. Make them loadable modules ('M') in the kernel configuration..

I activated all this hardware options and putted motion working but still can't see nothing from the camera. If exists a specific option for make it work i didn't discover yet.

Hello,

Could you let me know if you were able to succeed using ov5647 fisheye on Orange PI pls. I order this camera based on the specification mentioned in AliExpress, but I fear that this camera is not at all suitable with Orange Pi PC. Any information will help

Thanks !!

I didn't, the camera just doesn't work for some reason. And looks like nobody has the solution to this xD

Thanks for a prompt response. It looks like a wiring swap ( soldering ) with some kconfig updates should make that work, but I have no clues at this time. If I find something will update the details in this post.
