I’m trying to use my tinkerboard to run a small 4tb nas. 

I have installed armbian stretch and have run armbian config, software>softy>OMV, when I hit enter the it says “loading installation info” and then the screen flashes and goes back to the softy page.

Any help would be awesome,

Have you changed anything?

Do this:

apt -f install
apt update

and repeat procedure.

I just tried that, and I’m getting the same problem.(I tried it from a clean install just in case)

As soon as I click enter, half the monitor flashes black for a split second and then nothing else happens

You need to select something with a space.

Oh wow I am a noob, it has worked thank you so much!! I have been on this problem for the past 6 hours. 

Ok so I’ve finished the install process, and when I try to run OMV-initsystem it says “/ect/mdadm/mdadm.conf defines no arrays” and then it says “update-initramfs: Converting to u-boot format”

Those are notifications. Safe to ignore.
