anyone able to build https://code.ffmpeg.org/Kwiboo/FFmpeg/src/branch/v4l2request-v3 on their opi5? i try to build on my opi5 with today current-kernel 6.18.35 and got error: ERROR: v4l2_request requested, but not all dependencies are satisfied: linux_media_h v4l2_timeval_to_ns v4l2_m2m_hold_capture_buf libdrm libudev try edge kernel 7.1 also got the same error. any idea?

anyone try on jellyfin? docker jellyfin especially?

i find it is very convenient now, not only able to choose boot from nvme or sata ssd. but can also install the image from armbian-config. last time im installing armbian i need to dd the image manualy into nvme. very nice work for armbian team

so today im finally reinstall my opi5, and when choose mtd to flash i got two option, i guess the sata version is if im using sata ssd instead of nvme ssd?

how about armbian 26.2.1 but still using vendor kernel? did we still have this problem?

how do you solve this man? im also have this issue using v25.11.2 for Orange Pi 5 running Armbian Linux 6.1.115-vendor-rk35xx im using official power adapter. so i guess nothing wrong with my power. can we fix this without reinstalling the entire os? i have several running container and services.

@Anderson Castro i try. with docker container. but you need to change a little bit. since the docker run cli command on official use net=host I cannot access the jellyfin. so I just delete that line and add this line and work fine for me: -e JELLYFIN_PublishedServerUrl=192.168.0.55 `#optional` \ -p 8096:8096 \ -p 8920:8920 `#optional` \ -p 7359:7359/udp `#optional` \ -p 1900:1900/udp `#optional` \

hai, im planning to upgrade my local media server to use an external hard drive attached using hard drive docking on USB 3.0 what I'm confused about is. what is the best FileSystem format for my hard drive? I'm not planning to unmount and use the hard drive to another PC (for example: windows PC) So I'm ready to format it with FileSystem that fully optimizes on Linux (I'm using armbian noble) so ext4 or xfs? I hear xfs is better for copying large file sizes. my casual use is downloading movies, and watching it on jellyfin. or maybe I'm just using ext4?

why not try jellyfin. im mean jellyfin is free and support hw acceleration for orange pi5 now.

@leeson just have time to try now. but on web browser and jellyfin media client the play method is direct playing. not transcode. is it allright? from what i feel. now i can play HEVC video on web browser. on my old jellyfin this won't happen.
