  1. update 2: in the end i found out that with termux and some other android apps i can get it to be a quite functional server, so i gave up on armbian for the time being. I hope that the DTS i've extracted may be helpful to somebody with my same hardware and more knowledge but for now i give up on armbian (for this specific box) thank you for all the help
  2. update: with a LOT of help from our new best friends AIs i've extracted the original DTS from the box itself: original.dts i'm now trying to understand how to build a working linux image with it
  3. yes, this looks like a very poorly frankensteined box: on paper it's amlogic but then the CPU is an Allwinner H6 (as far as i understand) this is why i was trying to use images for the Tanix TX6 which should use the same processor (and also the box itself looks suspiciously similar)
  4. Hi all, I am a (not so) proud owner of a Pendoo X6 PRO and i'm trying to convert it into a NAS but dealing with the android APKs on such old android version is a nightmare, so i'm opting for ARMbian but without any success so far... i've tried to use the images for the TX6 which supposedly has the same CPU but when i insert the SD card i just get a black screen, black 7 segments display and no ethernet cable activity... i'm attaching the hardware report hoping for a miracle, thank you to whoever will decide to spend some time guiding me on this project Device Info Report.txt
