If you mean hardware accelerated 2D desktop, the out-of-the-box xorg modesetting driver is sufficient for light desktop usage.

If you want 3D acceleration you need to compile and install the Mali kernel driver, compile and install the xorg armsoc driver and install the ARM Mali OpenGL ES proprietary binary drivers. It's not a titanic job, but requires some experience
