I am new to the forum so my topic might be misplaced/already answered.

 

I have armbian running on BananaPiPro and I am completely satisfied but this build is not supported anymore.

I was am checking if I have the capabilities and/or the time to extend its support.

How does it work? What is the main job I should do in order to maintain it/contribute to it?

Hey Petruccs we'll accept community contributions.  This doc exists, but it needs more detail. https://docs.armbian.com/Process_Contribute/

 

to contrbute, you'd want to be able to build an image and test that it works, make adjustments to kernel config, patches, tweaks etc as needed.
