 is there a reason behind the Olimex Micro board being listed as "SUPPORT ENDED (EOS)" on the armbian web site?

Banal reason.

 

No samples in the lab /  no official board maintainer even I am sure most if not all features works ...

Although I'm not an official maintainer, when working on DEV version switch, I'm always doing some tests with my A20 Micro too ...

You can still download some old images there : https://dl.armbian.com/_old/micro/archive/

Or you can build your own using Armbian build scripts ...

Images are actually up to date, just lack of device for testing ... well, it can be enabled back. It's well supported A20 hw.
