I've just installed the Armbian 5.20 in the Banana PI M2.

No boot.

The message "Waiting for PHY auto negotiation to complete .....Timeout! Could not initialize PHY ethernet@01c30000" shows up over and over again and the boot freezes in sequence.

Somebody knows what is going on?

I made a test boot and it works for me. Try one older image to see if that works for you: http://image.armbian.com/ and if it works issue and upgrade. Full bootlog from serial console would help to diagnose.

Was a defective micro-sd card.

I've changed the micro-sd card and now it's all ok.

Unfortunately the Armbian 5.20 seems doesn't run 100% ok in the Banana PI M2. I have noted many artifacts in the screen, per exemple.

@Igor: What about only recommending Etcher as burning tool from now on? Verify is mandatory there. Instantly 10 percent less support cases and more happy users.
