Is it possible to install Armbian on Orange pi 3 LTS using a USB instead of micro SD?

My OPI will turn on but it shows android os via hdmi. I don't have a micro SD card and would like to install bullseye via usb instead. i've attempted ssh into the OPI via wifi and direct usb connect, but it denies the connection. I have the OPI on wifi and can see it on my network. i've tried using android adb to no use.

is there a way to install armbian WITHOUT using a micro SD at all?
