Featured Replies

Hi,

I use Banana Pro (armbian installed). I have no problem at all after installing Armbian. Previous OS was Raspbian and it was slow for homeserver ops. (I thing GUI was default). Nowadays, looking for a new but fast SBC. I am not interested in any video applications and components and such as Kodi, XMBC, H.265, 1080p, high resolution. I will not use it as desktop.

İt will serve only for my home network for DLNA server, DHCP server, Web proxy (like Squid), web filtering (SquidGuard), torrent ops. and web reporting (w/ Apache or any other). Especially web browsing is a little bit slower over Squid and Squidguard. İf this is CPU, memory or any kind source issue, which SBC can be suitable for my requirements ? For example, if I buy a new one with 2 GB memory with more powerful CPU, web-surf performance boost will be observable or not ?

If so, which SBC for headless usage ?

Thanks.
