January 28, 20251 yr Hello all, i feel i may have made a fatal mistake. I was running Armbian Bookworm server on an Orange PI 5 Plus. All was well until the latest update. After updating, I thought i'd checkout what's changed in arbian-config. I enabled rolling releases and rebooted when prompted. Sadly, the OPI5+ now wont boot. Anything I can do? Or do I need to reinstall everything? Thanks in advaced for anyone taking the time to help Shad
January 29, 20251 yr If you run from sdcard, put it into an existing system and make necessary adjustments. Easiest would be to use another arm64 based computer since you can simply chroot into your sdcard and use armbian-config to switch back to stable.
February 28, 20251 yr Hello Shad, I happen to have an Orange Pi 5 Plus as well and I thought I bricked it also but I was able to revive it. I have a couple of questions. 1 - Do you have an eMMC in yours? 2 - Are you trying to boot to SD Card, NVMe, or to the eMMC itself? Let me know and I have something I will post for you to try. Thanks, nexusguy59
