Is there a chance for a debian server image (beta) within the near future?

All my boards are running a armbian debian OS and I would like to stay consistent here...

Producing more than one daily beta image per board does not make much sense to us at this stage. It only prolongs the compilation time which is already long despite recent infrastructure upgrades. Check our manual for manipulating automated builds - if you manage to change Xenial beta to Jessie beta and provide PR I don't mind merging config changes and if you failed, I need to fix manual and we try again.

 

The 3rd option is setting up some Xenial x64 host and build on your own. Whatever you need.

EDIT:

I built the image (stretch/legacy kernel) on my own it works without any problems until now.
