August 16Aug 16 Introduction: I used Armbian Imager to flash Armbian 26.8.1 XFCE onto my Le Potato AML-S905X-CC-V1.0-A. Problem: On boot of the Le Potato, I could see the setup text via HDMI output on my monitor. But after setup was complete, the HDMI output would stop and my monitor would go to sleep. There was no longer HDMI output after initial boot. Solution: So I needed to SSH in over ethernet and run these commands to resolve this issue: echo "blacklist simpledrm" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-simpledrm.conf sudo update-initramfs -u sudo reboot This fixed my HDMI output issue and I can use my Le Potato board with my HDMI display now! Also as a note to beginners like myself, you cannot leave your passwords blank if you want to SSH into the board. I left the passwords blank for root and user to start and lost time troubleshooting why I could not SSH in.
