Will there ever be an Android 7 or 6 image for OPI+2?

Xunlong released Android 7 images 2 weeks ago and it didn't include a one for opi+2 which is still the same.  I am still waiting for an image and I wonder if there ever be an image or not. Does anyone have any information about this?

We are working here on and with armbian (Debian/Ubuntu/sunxi based) - whereas Android is something else.
