Proof of concept - Realtek 1295

Featured Replies

I wanted to mention that i got the realtek changes of the kernel 3.10.x extracted and applied to more recent kernel versions with the help of AI.

So far i only took care of RTD1195 SoC as i only have a QNAP TS-228 to play around. I tried to document most important stuff at https://en.opensuse.org/HCL:TS228#Kernel_6.12.100_with_modified_Realtek_changes

Keep in mind the RTD1195 is a 32bit only SoC. I am currently looking to get my fingers on a QNAP TS-230 which would be the SoC of this thread but it might take quiet some time as i don't want to spend too much money on a device i only want to play around :)

But probably somebody else feels now enlighten to also play around. A good starting point should be https://github.com/TS-228/linux/commit/908d9265c02e88c0d2b9697747cae4781e9d3f2b as that is before the cleanup.
