  1. @robertojTheoretically it will, as H618 supports OpenGL and Vulkan. But do not expect the same performance as RK3588. This is off the topic here and you'd better ask someone who share the same chip with you.
  2. Cool! I own this game as well, just didn't test it as I thought atlus put most their games under DRM. Definitely going to try it later. Also found that some games (probably CPU-intensive ones) work better on hangover compared with box64+proton/wine, if only the game was compatible.
  3. I've tested niri, hyprland, sway and i3, all of them should work if properly configured.
  4. I failed to get a working OpenGL with libmali. A more performant GLES may give a more performant desktop, but won't make most games working. Since the community have been doing excellent work bringing rk3588 to mainline, it makes no sense to stick to a 5.x vendor kernel for a closed-source library with flaws, at least in my use case. The FEX's developer has explained the reason why memory usage is high under arm64, and I think box64 may also have similar problems.
  5. Armbian Trixie XFCE (Edge kernel 6.18.0-rc3-edge-rockchip64) + Stable mesa 25.0.7-2 + box64-rk3588 0.3.9+20251106.dcd3ba0-1 (https://ryanfortner.github.io/box64-debs/) + wine-10.18-staging-tkg-amd64-wow64 (https://github.com/Kron4ek/Wine-Builds/releases) + dxvk-sarek v1.11.0-sarek-async-writeaccessfix-malifix-5d21d2b (https://github.com/pythonlover02/DXVK-Sarek/actions) Elin ~40fps@720p
  6. Switching kernel is a risky operation and armbian-config may not find the right combination of kernel+header+dtb for you. You would probably mess up with your system if you are not familiar with how linux works on embedded systems. Afaik it is recommended to manually upgrade/downgrade kernel using apt in case of version incompatibility. My suggestion is, you would better try it out yourself. If you think your system works stable for you, use that one.
  7. I have been running the legacy kernel (5.10) pretty stable for months on the v1 variant of orange pi 3B. You can build one yourself (https://github.com/armbian/build/). Latest v2 images from vendor (orangepi homepage) doesn't work either for v1. I think they did some breaking changes and dropped support for v1 orangepi 3B. I'm getting repeated HDMI connection errors in the latest 6.9 kernel, and HDMI audio does not work for 5.10 kernel. FYI, there is an old thread by Protx about solving the 6.1 kernel error. I think it worth a try if you would like to have v6.1 kernel running on your SBC. Look forward to your feedback.
  8. Based on my experience, previous edge image which have been removed from Armbian website (https://www.armbian.com/orangepi3b/), have difficulty communicating with HDMI display. It may fail to boot, or may experience kernel crashes after boot if HDMI is connected. Occasionally, the HDMI display will work fine, but the monitor resolution was incorrect. I have confirmed that the issue has been fixed in the latest 5.10 image, you can give it a try.
  9. Uart port works fine in the latest image `Armbian_community_24.5.0-trunk.93_Orangepi3b_jammy_legacy_5.10.160_gnome_desktop.img.xz`
