  1. I managed to brick the set‑top box. If you have the same problem and don’t know how to put it into maskrom mode, because now it doesn’t respond to the button inside AV. When connecting the power cord, you need to short‑circuit the left one of the four in a row on the board — they’re between USB 3.0 and the IR receiver (the black glass thing). Short‑circuit them, apply power, then release the short‑circuit — at that moment, the PC will emit a sound through the speakers, and the set‑top box will appear in the devices list in the Task Manager. Well, you’ll need a USB AM‑AM cable. and so on.
  2. Hi everyone, I’m observing a strange situation: I’ve written an SD card, I put it in the set‑top box, I turn it on, and it boots into Android TV. I turn it off, hold down the button in the mini‑jack socket, turn it on again, and I end up in recovery; there I select “reboot to system” and that’s it — the HDMI shows a black screen, but Armbian boots and you can connect via SSH. If I force a reboot, Armbian boots successfully, but it doesn’t work when booting cold. It seems like a success, but I’d like it to boot from the SD card even when cold. Now I'm thinking of downloading eMMC and recording Armbian on eMMC, I don't watch TV anyway, I just listen to the radio and read newspapers)
  3. Hello everyone, I bought a round H96 max 8k ultra hd on RK3528. Has anyone managed to install Armbian?
