(sorry for bad english) this box is heavily locked down i want to install armbian for emuelec on it but no support and no root but luckily it can local update throught sdcard/usb i just want to watch kodi, play emulation games does any one have the android tv firmware for this box? specs ( if needed): 1g ram 4g rom cpu fake allwinner h313 ( high chance is h3 because uses mali 400 mp2 and armv7a i checked on aida64) android 9

specs: hi3798 ram 1g rom 4g sd/usb boot or emmc boot any help appreciated

@Nick A I tried it — I installed everything and created a secure boot image, but it doesn’t even attempt to boot from it. It just goes straight back into Android. Any idea what I might be missing?

@Sergey LepeshkinThanks for the clarification. Could you please recommend a specific USB-to-UART (3.3V TTL) adapter model that you know works well with this TV box? A product name or chip (CP2102 / FT232RL / CH340, etc.) would be really helpful.

Hey @Sergey Lepeshkin, i got the cable after 1-2 months now, i tried adb and all of them didn't regonize, only the middle port of the side, but i can't connect to it, it also beeps like theres a connection conflict, any solution? @Sergey Lepeshkin thanks for the information.After a while search for soldering shops i didnt have any results, it seems like there is no soldering shop in my city (there are but very far away). I was expecting a alot of them since im in the center. What to do now? EDIT: I tried your modified update.zip, and it regonized it, i clicked the the Settings > device info > local update > mmcblk0 (the sd card with the update file) and it rebooted, after that that, the box didnt update anything 😕

I couldnt contact the seller to provide the rom and i think they dont know since they most resell them. Also is it safe to install that file on my box?? Im scared that is going thr brick the box

Edit : i have checked the modified version of the file, and the os, all the malwares are on my box i think we have the same box. I have a good specs laptop from 2018, it runs well and i can compile the image, the problem is the memory settings since i think we dont have the same ra, chips accord to the 2 years difference of the ram chip on my board

Hello @Nick A i was busy on school and my cable is delivered, i was able to use adb. Could you show me how to dunp the boot.img? @SteeMan, My box is fake and it is allwinner h313, is in 32 bit mode

@SteeMani also did some commands prompted by chatgpt since it said it was manufactored by allwinner also related to cortex-a53, aida64 said it too, so i doubt that mine are using a allwinner h313 chip

@Nick A also there are some problem with root, when i try ‘su’ on terminal emulator, it showed /system/xbin/su : permission denied is there any problem with root?
