  1. It's weird, I had no issues with BTF, all instructions are written to the readme, I verified them before pushing it. I guess there is something broken during the build. Maybe something is broken on armbian's main branch. Did you try going back a few days on armbian's git? No other steps are needed, you just put the SD card in the tv box and it should load it.
  2. I managed to get it working. It boots Armbian from SD card with stock Android firmware, HDMI & Ethernet are working. Patches are here: https://github.com/Daninet/rk3528-h96max-armbian
  3. Regarding TF card. The stock firmware boots from it, but probably to some electrical issues it is not reliable in SDR104 mode leading to checksum errors and kernel panics. Limiting it to SDR25 mode manages to work consistently. emmc also needs downgrading to HS200 for reliability. I'm still fighting with some kernel panics while running init scripts.
  4. @0KTAV1US UART TX pin is on the back of the board, near the "DEBUG" label (see image). 1.5M baud rate, 8 data, 1 stop, parity none. I also attached the boot log with stock android. log_cleaned.txt
