  1. Sunxi-Cedrus is an effort to bring hardware-accelerated video decoding and encoding support for Allwinner SoCs to the mainline Linux kernel. Additional userspace components that interface with the kernel driver are also provided, for typical GNU/Linux-based systems. https://linux-sunxi.org/Sunxi-Cedrus
  2. @vitya you could try this
  3. still trying to get my bluetooth working on Vontare H618. could not power it on. renaming from uppercase filename to lower case allowed me to turn it on. BCM4334B0.hcd to bcm4334b0.hcd still unable to discover and connect. log of dmesg | grep -i bluetooth when uppercase BCM4334B0.hcd it found firmware patch ,but bluetooth power on failed when lowercase bcm4334b0.hcd not found firmware patch but bluetooth power on succeeded think patch / filename needs to be checked or matched.
  4. I using build 240909 with Kernel 6.9.12 and edge ubuntu noble and i do not have hardware accelerated video and no Blue Tooth. Xtal usually alway measured in MHz, except for "clock" Xtal used in clocks and watches. 32.678 kHz size 3x8mm
  5. No that Xtal is 37.4MHz or 26MHz used to generate the 2.4 and 5GHz radio fequency. (If no Xtal is used it be using internal oscillator or 24MHz from H618 cpu Xtal). The Low Power Clock, LPO is used to Clock the wifi chip when off/sleep and turn wifi and bluetooth on and off, 3 clk pulse after the voltage rails are turned on or off. When on it uses high speed clock from Xtal. See Page 17 of datasheet. Its Input Pin 24 of Wifi/BT chip, clk comes from H618/H616 arm CPU. Pin 24 LDO is marked with Pink dot.
  6. @Nick A Vontar H618 HK6334Q this is from data sheet: "Pin 24 LPO External Low Power Clock input (32.768KHz)" measured with Owon HDS2202S hand held Oscilloscope. its 32.768KHz NOT 32kHz AP6330.pdf
  7. i like to make a bootable micro SDcard with the Vontar H618 Android 12 firmware and see if it would boot on the Tanix Tx6. Use Disks to make an image and restore to sdcard?
  8. Found this by searching vontar h618 firmware. https://androidpctv.com/vontar-h618-firmware-update/ And https://www.vontar.cn/pages/download
  9. Vontar H618 working with transpeed,8k618-t image. wifi working with brcmfmac4334-sdio.transpeed,8k618-t.bin bluetooth does not work but icon appears in task bar I had to install no internet apps for desktop as armbian mirror for firefox is broken as there is file size missmatch and it cancels the compile of image trying to instal firefox by apt or synaptic package manager gave same error. I had to install firefox nightly to get a working browser.
  10. Vontar H618 PCB: FX-H618-D4_V10 23-03-21 Ram: 4GB (8 x K4B4G0446B HCK0) Rom: 64GB (KLMCG4JENB ) Wifi: HK6334Q Osc: 37.4MHz LED: FD650B-S PMIC: AXP313A Android 12 is much better than Android 9 on my Tanix Tx6, better ui and more responsive. I will test with default transpeed-8k618-t image.
  11. I have Tanix Tx6 and now a Vontar H618. which just arrived. I will check out your build. I cant even detect Bluetooth device. I need to dump my android DTS. looking at the AP6330 (SP6330) datasheet wifi/bt chip uses External Low Power Clock input (32.768KHz) and External Xtal Osc 26MHz. AP6330.pdf
  12. regarding dts files, are the uboot and kernel dts files meant to be identical ? useful link about dts to/from dtb compiler. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/21670967/how-to-compile-dts-linux-device-tree-source-files-to-dtb
  13. I have ordered the Vontar H618 as it hardware is similar to transpeed most are using. I am new armbian and have much to learn, so using Vontar should be easier then Tanix Tx6. @rafman what is the monitor software on your desktop?

  16. What is the wifi chip used in the Vontar H618 ? Its on sale again and I can buy for good price.
  17. starting from git clone https://github.com/augin/linux_openvfd i did this. it not problem i was just testing , my image is still not fully working so just playing around with it trying to learn more about armbian. but breaking it has given more info about cinnamon problem which i want to fix. as first fix was more by brute force purge and reinstall cinnamon which is not needed but uninstal and reinstall menu applet. I need to check android DTS and compare with my Armbian DTS , think some gpio / uarts need fixing for ethernet and Bluettoth but im noob so lots to learn. Also need faster SD card as one i have are slow. I gone back to testing miniarch image also, and ethernet does work with it.
  18. I started following you instructions for openvfd. clone git and changed the kernel and reboot. but i dont have ethernet and it kept trying to connect and time out. ended up reloading image on SDCARD. lol think i found the reason why cinnamon fails to load menu. cinnamon app does not exist zero size. xfce4-about.desktop think i will reload image again and work out exactley th problem with cinnamon
  19. @MMorales Your LED Display work is really cool and nerdy 🤯😎🤓
  20. I got wifi working by making link > file in /lib/firmware/brcm brcmfmac4330-sdio.tanix,tx6s.bin > brcmfmac4330-sdio.bin brcmfmac4330-sdio.tanix,tx6s.txt > brcmfmac-ap6330-sdio.txt Also have Cinnamon Desktop/Menu now working after purge and reinstall of cinnamon. Still need to get BlueTooth and Ethernet working. Thanks @Nick A
