Orangepi 5B can not boot from emmc

1. The armbian  with sd card can not detect orangepi 5b emmc disk

2. with orangei5b official image and boot  , write the armbian image to emmc , can not boot into UI desktop and drop into inicramfs shell.

    I've also been unable to write to emmc.. I've seen it done on youtube with a windows PC... But I don't have one of those.. Need a Linux option!

    The rolling release (lunar) recognized the emmc once I changed the armbienEnv.txt to point at the proper dtb file:

    fdtfile=rockchip/rk3588s-orangepi-5b.dtb

     

    After that I was able to install to the emmc no problem.
