I know is a hard-work, maybe due to the "avalanche" of new boards.

But I find a little mess in the filter to select boards in the Donwload page based on the availability of OS images. For example Orange Pi One http://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-one/ doesn't have Mainline OS but it's appear in the filtered list.

We actually added a test Vanilla build which was soon removed. Reason: people failed to read that it's a preview image, where many thing does not work and that we don't provide any end user support. Further people failed to read, that I don't provide support via email or other private channels. To lower related frustration, we simply removed those images from the download and now they are accessible elsewhere, where is little harder to find. Technically those boards have (limited at this stage) mainline support.

I expect we'll put those images back soon, so I don't change this flag. Perhaps I should ?

Not necessary, It can be a nice way to know about future mainline support of some boards.

I like the historical way to show boards and look to the top to see new members in the armbian family.

Then we need 2 sort filters with sorting by name as default one. Assuming that all older boards are also sorted by "Armbian support added" date.

IMO it's better to have something like

 

Sort by [ name | date ]

 

where currently selected filter is displayed bold and the other one is a link.

IMO we should switch back to 'by date' as default. With current sorting new users accessing this page get the impression that this here is all about boring Bananas while the average potential new Armbian user searches for 'hot stuff' (like OPi Zero in this case).

Yes, probably better this way. Defaults changed to "by date".

BTW Sort "buttons" are now reversed for some reason - clicking on selected one switches the order (instead of clicking on non-selected)
