I there i use the update my orange pi zero to latest version 04/05/17 and no simply dosen´t boot anymore! any thing i can do?

Which OS and kernel are you using? Attach serial console that we can understand what's going on.

Yes. You can use releases marked as "stable".

Or you can use beta/nightly releases and be ready that they may break after the update - they are clearly marked as "development"/"experimental"

I think we need an Armbian Forum Bot which answers people when three words are read:

Not exactly. It's "don't ask for support if you are using nightlies/dev kernel". Especially don't ask for support if you updated a previously working nightly to a new kernel and something broke.

The AFB ( Armbian Forum Bot) has to say:
"Stable is stable. That's something you can trust.
And a nightly build is for development only.
You can expect weird things."

 

Would be nice to know what someone would like to achieve with a new nightly build.
Is one hoping something is fixed?

Sorry guys I know is not stable im just tring to let devs know that insta working I have backup so no need for a bot! Sorry im just trying to help.

Understood! Nightly builds are risky. That’s the main point to remember.
