October 11, 20242 yr Hi, I have installed Armbian on an SD card and can successfully boot from SD by holding reset button during power plug. Given that it is not possible to install Armbian to eMMC on S905, is it possible at least to make it always boot from SD?
October 11, 20242 yr Author Answering my own question Turned out you have to boot once from SD using the reset button and then reboot from Armbian. S905 will boot from SD now on. Keep the SD in the slot and it will always boot from SD
October 28, 20241 yr Hello I am totally new to Armbian, but why it is not possible to install it to internal storage on TV boxes?

Have a look at these posts and the official FAQ. use "/root/install-aml.sh" or was it "/root/aml-install.sh" script. but do not use the armbian-config tool to install onto internal emmc.
