i just tried to install ubuntu 16.04.2 on my tinkerboard, but i got a problem while changing the password as prompt on the first boot : when i try to change it, by anything i write, it just give me that message i use as title. can anyone give me help ? i dont find anyway to go further.

Please see the common issues thread for power supply and SD card issues.  Make sure to use Etcher to burn the image to the SD card.

i just burn it again with rufus and all works. but now, i got a problem while trying to install ubuntu software center (or even with gnome software) even through apt-get install gnome-software, i got some failed that giving me 404 not found since this morning at the end of the install. anyone got this too ? 

404 means "File not found" .

Usually, it is simply that some URLs are not up-to-date. So, a simple "apt-get update" will take the list of latest URLs.
