A substantial portion of the changes target CI infrastructure hardening in the new os-ci-test repository, including self-contained release handling, GHCR authentication via builtin tokens, watchdog-based auto-retry for stalled runs, proxy normalization, and sane build timeouts (60m packages, 30m/60m images). Related fixes in armbian/actions resolve datacenter runner proxy issues, while a rootfs change strips mmdebstrap's apt proxy from shipped images. Codeowners pruning of inactive maintainers and a Docker…

  45. Description The idea is to generate output/git_sources.json file that will contain url, branch and commit hash combo. The easiest way to generate file for all devices is to run ./compile.sh targets. Then at the time of release we will copy the output/git_sources.json file to config/sources/git_sources.json. Once the file is copied, the hash information from the file will be used to fetch resources for git repositories where branches are specified instead of tags or commits. There can be other ways to do this as well. I am just too tired to experiment more on the same. Raising it to be a communication starter. I have also added the json file that I have generated today. …

  65. In my initial commit I assumed CONFIG_USE_PREBOOT=y was enabled by default. I was wrong. As reported by MicroLinux (Salva) on DISCORD the unit was still having issues booting. I sent him a patch I use which enables preboot and he reported back that "It boots fine now". NOTES: The patch he tested also had boot logo support enabled. In my testing boot logo support is not required. If for some reason in the future there are still eMMC boot issues, than maybe adding a slight delay "sleep 2" to preboot would suffice. https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/5858 Checklist: [ ] My code follows the style guidelines of this project [ ] I have performed a self-review of my own c…

  68. This week's work centers on release pipeline modernization, desktop and userland refinements, and board and kernel platform maintenance. On the release and CI side, the build matrix gained codename parameterisation with Ubuntu 26.04 "resolute" set as default, a dedicated Bianbu target, and exposed map overrides, while standard-support targets now include UEFI desktops and a plain cloud variant. The KDE fast-HDMI matrix was switched from kde-neon to kde-plasma, mesa-vpu was dropped from auto-attached extensions, and external CI now skips slots with a warning when upstream sources break. Supporting fixes route forky/loong64 base-files lookups to the main archive and add AI …
