  6. STMicroelectronics’ STM32MP13 1 GHz single-core Arm Cortex-A7 microprocessor series is the latest addition to the Linux-capable STM32MP1 family, with a cost-optimized design that does without the Cortex-M4 real-time core found in the original STM32MP15 series, while still offering Ethernet, CAN FD, camera and display depending on the specific SKU: STM32MP131, STTM32MP133, or STM32MP135. STM32MP131 The STM32MP131 is a single-core Cortex-A7 core clocked at 650 MHz or 1GHz with Ethernet connectivity and is the most cost-effective part of the new STM32MP13 series. Four parts are available in three different packet sizes (TGBGA 289, TFBGA 320, and LFBGA 289) as well as some p…

  14. Description When booting U-Boot for rockchip64 or rk3588 devices, the error Failed to load '...-fixup.scr' pops up. This PR fixes this error by checking if the file exists before trying to load it. This PR partially fixes https://github.com/armbian/build/issues/6398 Unfortunately, I was not able to fix the error with missing kaslrseed (even though it may only be cosmetic). Note: U-Boot uses Hush cli language. Not this Hush cli (!) but a different old Hush shell in Busybox which is very badly documented overall unfortunately. I could not find any Hush functionality or a U-Boot command to check if the command kaslrseed exists. Should we include CONFIG_CMD_KASLRSEED for e…

  17. The Evolution of SBCs: From Hobby Boards to Edge ComputingOver the past two decades, single-board computers (SBCs) have transformed from experimental maker tools into the backbone of modern embedded and edge systems. What started as a handful of affordable hobby boards has grown into a diverse ecosystem powering automation, AI, and connected infrastructure around the world. From Prototypes to PossibilityEarly SBCs were humble experiments — small circuit boards combining processor, memory, and I/O on one platform. For years they lived quietly inside industrial machines and educational kits. The real turning point came in the early 2010s with boards like the Raspberry Pi, B…

The company claims the Notecard and Sparrow solutions ease the development of IoT networks in a way that was previously only available “to sophisticated engineering firms”, and now Blues Wireless supports cellular, WiFi, and LPWAN technologies. 84. Description Bump rockchip64 edge kernel to v6.10. Includes the rk3328 gpio2 bank fix from https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/6974 Minor changes have been needed to bring patches from 6.9 to 6.10 (notably, very small rework of the overlay compilation). @brentr rk3308 now has a mainline audio codec driver. It breaks several patches that previously introduced a driver and manipulated it to "sync with BSP" and convert to "component". This commit contains all the modifications I did to allow the kernel to compile cleanly, but the result may not provide working audio or may not provide the same functionalities as before, hence rk3308 audio section requires some more separa…
