I am a new user on this forum : I received the Odroid XU4 this morning and installed Debian on the eMMC card.

I booted, and everything is working except the cooling fan: it seems not to start, even when I plug in the adapter before it boots.

Is that normal, because even at 66 °c, it doesn't start...

Last time I was playing around it was working fine ... have to attach a fan and check. I assume it's working on stock Hardkernel images?

I didn't test with another OS.

Please do, to rule out hardware related problems. This is first report of such problem.

Just check as the fan does not always turn if you are in a cool enough environment the fan will not run the whole time.
