August 17, 20251 yr Let's divide it into parts - Bluetooth Bluetooth isn't working. I've tried activating UART7 and GPIO pins 19 and 22, but to no avail. I installed the drivers, but to no avail. Bluetooth isn't communicating! - Audio ES8388 For some unknown reason, the ES8388 has audio disabled by default on the ASA. To fix this, simply go to the terminal and run the command user@user alsamixer Then use the buttons to move around until you find OUT1. Out1 above it says MM (mute), so click M to make it 00 with a green background. Audio problem solved - Language I can't set the language to Portuguese in the Gnome interface even after installing the packages manually and through armbiam-config - Kernel Please, even if kernel 6.1.xx++ does not work, use the latest functional kernel, for me kernel 6.1.115 is very functional. No critical problems.

August 31, 20251 yr Thank you for your report, @DanflashX So, your audio is working out of the box and the change in https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/8568 is not necessary for the Opi 5 Pro?

If you don't have locales support in the system, you won't be able to use it in desktop. I think this is the problem. In my case, when I select my own locales (sl_SI.UTF-8) and install those desktop related packages, I have Gnome with Slovene support.
September 21, 20251 yr Author In the case of the Orange PI 5 Pro, just remove OUT1 from mute mode and the ES8388 will work fine! By default, OUT1 is in MM (mute). @laibsch
September 21, 20251 yr Author @Igor When I first start it up, I get an error! Even if I install the packages manually, the GNOMRlE interface does not switch to Portuguese! That's strange!
