Description of changes by commit Fix variable $root_partition_device to be a device path - as it is intended to be. Otherwise at least this line would fail: https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/8cc5b2664c8e49e252e5d383b983b8601440d8e7/packages/bsp/common/usr/sbin/armbian-install#L539 root_partition_device is all time equal to root_partition_device_name, since the lsblk does not list device path names rather than just the device (end-)name. Fixed to get e.g.: root_partition_device=/dev/mmcblk0 root_partition_device_name=mmcblk0 commit: d7cf33ae3ce9850d4b9e0f9edb4ec7595fb2220a Fix determination and usage of variable $sduuid Issue: The last grep filter in the follow…

Description Since of historical reasons script armbian-install is still creating a log file with name /var/log/nand-sata-install.log as well as using other artifacts from folder /usr/lib/nand-sata-install. I would like to align those names to comply with the original script name having been run: If run as nand-sata-install => create /var/log/nand-sata-install.log, lookup artifacts in /usr/lib/nand-sata-install If run as armbian-install => create /var/log/armbian-install.log, lookup artifacts in /usr/lib/armbian-install To achieve 2. I did: rename folder packages/bsp/common/usr/lib/nand-sata-install -> packages/bsp/common/usr/lib/armbian-install - since this …

artifacts: introduce calculate_hash_for_variables() which normalizes the input; use in kernel/uboot/etc Does not look like it, but this is a bugfix -- UBOOT_TARGET_MAP might contain $SRC (due to BL31=, etc) and that is hashed into something only ever matches by accident Also fixes artifact-armbian-desktop vs appgroups/config_base differences some hashed variables might contain "${SRC}", so hashes never match, unless built in Docker - this strips away SRC from all vars and adds debugging so we can detect more later. artifact-uboot: include more variables into hash, for ATF & rk stuff artifact-armbian-desktop: - hashed vars actually contain /armbian in different…

Description When booting U-Boot for rockchip64 or rk3588 devices, the error Failed to load '...-fixup.scr' pops up. This PR fixes this error by checking if the file exists before trying to load it. This PR partially fixes https://github.com/armbian/build/issues/6398 Unfortunately, I was not able to fix the error with missing kaslrseed (even though it may only be cosmetic). Note: U-Boot uses Hush cli language. Not this Hush cli (!) but a different old Hush shell in Busybox which is very badly documented overall unfortunately. I could not find any Hush functionality or a U-Boot command to check if the command kaslrseed exists. Should we include CONFIG_CMD_KASLRSEED for e…

Description The "swapaccount=" option has been deprecated in 6.1. Disable it in almost all boot scripts except "boot-sun50iw9.cmd" since that one is used in sun50iw9 legacy kernel, which is version 4.9. In theory, rk3588-legacy is also still <6.1, but that boot script is also used by 6.1 vendor kernel and the amount of new images being built/used with the 5.10 legacy kernel is likely minimal. As far as I know, bootscript won't update automatically, so these changes will only apply to freshly built images. Please correct me if I'm wrong. But debsums will check all package when we don't specify any package. So it happens to work. What's more, when we silense it by default (#4080) , we leave a } after '>/dev/null 2>/dev/null'.
