  1. I've attached the .xsession-errors log file content. As in regards to updating packages.... I always update my board every time I start it and I don't really pay attention to what it updates as I always update everything. After you mentioned about xsession errors, I noticed that in the bottom left corner there was a drop down list with the xsession (wayland and X11). I saw that by default Wayland is selected and when I selected X11 it just worked. xerror.log
  2. Same here, also with an OrangePi 5+. It used to work with autologin at startup but after some updates it didn't work anymore. When I start the board I get a graphical login screen and although I enter the password correctly, the login screen closes and then it appears again prompting to enter the password. The only way to log in is to switch to the text console (ctrl+alt+f3) and log in text mode and then run startx; I tried enabling/disabling auto login from armbian-config but it doesn't seem to do anything. user@orangepi5-plus:~$ cat /etc/issue Armbian 25.2.3 noble \l user@orangepi5-plus:~$ uname -r 6.1.99-vendor-rk35xx Does anybody have any ideas about this issue?
  3. Hello, Has someone managed to make widevine work properly in armbian for any ARM64 board? I have a orange pi 5 plus board and I'm using armbian with the vendor kernel and I'm struggling to get widevine working without success. I've tried several online tutorials but none of them seem to work (but they also seem to be rather old).
  4. @Gypsophila . That did the trick. Thank you very much!
  5. @Gypsophila . I tried with your file, but while the driver is loaded just fine and the WiFi card seems to be running, when scanning for WiFi networks, no networks are found. I know it should be working as I've tried with the edge kernel and it was working properly. Any ideas?
  6. Hello everyone! I have an orange pi 5 plus with the official WiFi module and I have installed thr armbian-firmware-full, but I still can't find the wifi module driver: user@orangepi5-plus:~$ ls /usr/lib/modules/6.1.43-vendor-rk35xx/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/realtek/rtw89 rtw89_8852ae.ko rtw89_8852ce.ko rtw89_core.ko rtw89_8852a.ko rtw89_8852c.ko rtw89_pci.ko user@orangepi5-plus:~$ ls /usr/lib/firmware/rtw89/ rtw8851b_fw.bin rtw8852b_fw-1.bin rtw8852c_fw.bin rtw8852a_fw.bin rtw8852b_fw.bin rtw8922a_fw.bin user@orangepi5-plus:~$ I thought it was supposed to be added to the vendor kernel: https://github.com/armbian/linux-rockchip/pull/192 My kernel version: user@orangepi5-plus:~$ uname -r 6.1.43-vendor-rk35xx Am I missing something here?
