I have seen many problems with the Rock64 v3 in the last few days.
Many customers have told me that existing Rock64 images suddenly no longer boot in v3.
We have verified this and found that apparently v3 can not cope with many SD cards. The booting of eMMC goes without problems.

If a customer has bought a new v3 and nothing works, contact us, we will send you an emmc card for the purchase price without any profit.

Hi Markus,  did you attach an UART cable and see where the boot process stops or did you ask one of your customer to upload such log to:  https://pastebin.com/ ?

 

This is probably because nothing has been adjusted for the new sd-card reader in the Rock64V3.
Is this with every OS? And with every kind of sd-card?
Did any developer get a board, and have they looked at the problem?
It could be you're giving away eMMC's for nothing.

Well, it's U-boot where the issue arises, so perhaps.  I can build images again, so I will finally experiment.
