  4. Looking at the pinout table Pin 7 and PIN26, also the schematic, PWM is PA6 For this board, the overlay, is saying PWM is PA5, is it PA5? (sun50i-h5=pwm.dts) For SPI_1, CS_1 is PA10, but the table does not list a PA10, is that pin 26? (sun50i-h5-spi-add-cs1.dts)

I use a NEO2 (H5), with armbian linux 4.19.13-sunxi64, and have a StarTech usb2.0 to Gigabit-ethernet adapter, which I plug in the usb slot of the NEO2 and which gives me a new additional ethernet interface. iperf3 on this interface (against another NEO2 with its generic gigabit interface) gives maximum 111 MBit/sec, even with the tips in https://forum.armbian.com/topic/7001-slow-usb-speed-on-h5-devices-orangepi-prime-probably-cpu-governor-related/ (which actually dont change much) Using a raspberry pi (2B) with the same adapter and cable I get 170 MBit/sec, which is significantly more (although still not what one should hope for, which is up to 30…

  10. Hi, I'm here to dig into low power consumption with allwinner H6 boards, I own an OrangePi one plus and I'm already doing some tests. With an H3 board and legacy kernel I would simply tweak fex file to turn off the unnecessary, and there is already good material around this argument. But with mainline kernel there is no documentation about lowering power consumption. I would really appreciate some hints on how to tweak down consumption for H6 boards and mainline kernel, probably editing DT overlay or some other config/patch files, and re-building? I already tweaked the simplest things like: -Using fast ethernet instead of gigabit -Lowering max CPU frequency (…

  11. Hi everyone ! I'm starting this new dedicated thread because I've got some new headache about this issue that we tried to figured out since months... I've received my PineH64 last week, and with this board I don't faced the reboot hang behaviour ! Today, since I've committed the OPi3 WIP scripts, and facing same reboot hang, I've decided to to try booting PineH64 image on this OPi3 board, but unfortunately reboot hang still occurs ... This brings me to a conclusion that it is not a software issue, but maybe hardware one ... I will dig on that during next few days by comparing PMIC and other between all those boards ... …

The problem is with the ports, they are not opening when I start the hadoop daemons, so my question is: Is it even possible to deploy hadoop on Debian Jessie 4.1.4? I have tried everything. Fresh install, deploy a configured hadoop cluster that was working on ubuntu 14.04 LTS, forcing the ports to open which took me to an unsolvable error( related to Protocol Buffers ), but the main problem is the ports not opening, giving the Connection Refused error. 16. Hello, Is there a guide / tutorial on making Kodi run with hardware acceleration enabled on Armbian on Orange PI PC Plus? e.g. like how LibreELEC does it. I have found a bunch of information on different sites and forums, but I can't put it all together. What I know so far: * Apparently the HW-accelerated decoding is supposed to be done on Kodi's side via VDPAU API * The Kodi build in Armbian repos does not have built-in support for libvdpau (?) * ffmpeg, the video decoding library used by Kodi, doesn't support Allwinner GPU out of the box and needs patching * Kodi needs to be re-compiled with the patched ffmpeg vers…

For HDMI audio to work you need 0004-sun4i-i2s-improvements.patch , which contains support for I2S on H6. When done right you should see in dmesg: asoc-simple-card sound: i2s-hifi <-> 5091000.i2s mapping ok Also what helped was an IRC chat that Jernej had with mirko some time ago: https://irclog.whitequark.org/linux-sunxi/2018-03-14 For video acceleration you need 0005-cedrus-improvements.patch and compile Cedrus driver. 45. I had got a OrangePI One Plus (H6) on a few day ago. I had a problem with HDMI to VGA Converter that it do not work with my OrangePI One Plus. I guess it maybe about the Power of that HDMI on OrangePI One Plus was not enough for HDMI to VGA Converter's operation. Then I fix it by replace regular HDMI to VGA to be HDMI to VGA with 5V external port. And Yeah, it's work fine!!! but I had OrangePI One (H3), OrangePI PC2(H5) and OrangePI Prime(A64) too which All of them had no problem with HDMI to VGA Converter. I feel wonder with this problem on OrangePI One Plus.

I've got a fresh Orange Pi PC Plus 2 with the relevant Armbian loaded onto a new card. It seems to output just fine to HDMI on my workbench at home, using a relatively new monitor and a direct HDMI cable, but when I try other monitors I get inconsistent results. One is a Quimat 7-inch display that just shows a white backlight when connected to the OPi. However that display has issues with other boards so I'm not entirely worried about it. But the other display is a fairly modern ViewSonic monitor that exhibits a more confusing behavior. The monitor only has DVI/VGA so I'm connecting to it through a passive HDMI-DVI adapter. When I boot the board, the POST screen shows up …

I try to configure my display on armbian-config and I choose HDMI not DVI but the result is the same after rebooting. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

  65. Dear all, we need some help from Banana Pi M2 (not that important), Cubox-i/UDOO and ODROID XU4 users. Please look through this Github issue and also have look how we currently handle IRQ redistribution on various board families (example 1 and example 2) Since irqbalanced on ARM is broken (and if it would work it's often counterproductive) assigning IRQs statically to specific CPU cores increases overall system performance slightly for free. We do this for A20 boards for years (dual core --> sending Ethernet to second CPU core), extended this on H3 boards a few months ago (quad core and somewhat complicated due to the count of different boards exposing diff…

  90. Hello, I'm new to working with Armbian and Linux in general, but I have a HiLetgo VK172 G-Mouse USB GPS/GLONASS USB GPS receiver connected to my Orange Pi PC. When I open it with MINICOM, I get a response, but it doesn't give me the coordinates: $GPGSA,A,1,,,,,,,,,,,,,99.99,99.99,99.99*30 $GPGSV,1,1,01,27,,,22*7D L,,,,,203410.00,V,N*4E $GPRMC,203411.00,V,,,,,,,031223,,,N*79 $GPVTG,,,,,,,,,N*30 $GPGGA,203411.00,,,,,0,00,99.99,,,,,,*63 ... But I want to open it for serial communication in /dev/ttyACM0. Thank you very much, and any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Hi, please find attached a file where I describe how to install a home server on a Cubietruck, and the problems I encountered. Once the problems are solved, this could be a basis for an installation instruction. Any help much appreciated! Sincerely Engelbert Installation.pdf

  93. Hi every body, Tanks igor for your great job with your linux versions for cubietruck. I installed jessie with kernel 3.4. I'm trying to make a media server with minidlna. Cubietruck is connected to the router with ethernet when i'm at home and minidlna stream fine. I sucessfully installed hostapd with your interfaces.hostapd file. Ethernet plugged, i can connect to wlan0 and access to minidlna. My problem is when ethernet is unplugged and i reboot the cubietruck. I cannot access to minidlna via wlan0. I set network_interface=br0 in minidlna configuration. Do i need to manually configure dhcp or something like that?

  94. I downloaded the lastest Armbian image for my Nanopi Neo (Armbian 23.02.2 Jammy with Linxu 5.15.93-sunxi). 97. There is a patched version that enables noscan=1 , but the one I'm using seems like it hasn't been patched. When there is no AP's around HT40 kicks in ok without noscan=1. 98. Hi, In my OPi PC, the image "Armbian_5.20_Orangepipc_Debian_jessie_3.4.112" resolves .local hosts well, e.g. ` ping rpi1.local ` but the image "Armbian_5.20_Orangepipc_Debian_jessie_3.4.112_desktop" does not, it gives 'ping: unknown host rpi1.local', and it's quite odd, because an ` avahi-resolve -n rpi1.local ` works... uname -a Linux orangepipc 3.4.112-sun8i #10 SMP PREEMPT Sun Oct 23 16:06:55 CEST 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux Any ideas? Thank you

  99. Started by seif,

    I've been trying to learn how to do that by looking at the [leds_para] in https://linux-sunxi.org/Fex_Guide#.5Bleds_para.5D but the [leds_para] in the script.bin of my Orange Pi PC are very different: [leds_para] leds_used = 1 green_led = port:PL10<1><default><default><1> green_led_active_low = 0 red_led = port:PA15<1><default><default><0> red_led_active_low = 0 I'm lost... Can you help me? It's an Orange Pi PC with ARMBIAN 5.60 stable Debian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie) 3.4.113-sun8i Thanks.
