I am trying to boot armbian on the Pine64 clusterboard but I cannot get past a 'Starting kernel...' message on the serial console. I am not able to boot either of the images from https://www.armbian.com/sopine-a64/#kernels-archive-all I'm not sure if the serial is just turning off or the system is freezing. It does not connect to my router. Here is the serial output for for 'focal' image. Hello, I've faced some issue with rebooting nanopi-m2 (debian jessie) after unplugging or power off sbc. If it's powered on again, I can see only that the blue led constantly lights, and that's it. In this case, it can be booted only by pressing reset button on the board. Is it okay for nanopi, or am I doing something wrong?

Hi, I'm having issues with an unreliable HW watchdog on the Orange Pi Zero. I am using the standard Armbian kernels (tried 4.19.62, 5.3.x, 5.4.x - all the same) and have nowayout=1: [ 4.328286] sunxi-wdt 1c20ca0.watchdog: Watchdog enabled (timeout=16 sec, nowayout=1) I'm feeding /dev/watchdog every 2 seconds. Superficially it works, for example, if I do the following the WD triggers after 16 sec and the board reboots: echo c > /proc/sysrq-trigger However I am finding that in other crash scenarios, the WD reboot sometimes happens and sometimes does not. For example, with a forkbomb :(){ :|:& };: about 70% of th…

I'm powering a few Orange Pi Zeros, so I don't have any choice but to use USB for power (well, more or less). So, I spent some time searching for the right power adapter. It has to be at least 2A and only have one plug (to keep people from plugging in their phones). I thought I found the right product and purchased 20 of them. I was having issues with not booting from the microSD card and was really lost as to why this problem kept popping up. Anyway, I thought to double check the power. I wasn't getting more than 700mA -- sometimes much less. And so, I decided to look deeper...
