March 26, 20242 yr Hi, is is possible to port the kahdas-edge2 changes (https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/6335) to the OrangePi 5b device tree?
March 27, 20242 yr You can add it like https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/main/patch/kernel/rockchip-rk3588-edge/board-khadas-edge2-add-nodes.patch#L1347 I suppose you don't need to make any change since 5b and edge2 uses the same pcie phy
April 10, 20242 yr Author @Efe Çetin I have tried this before, but I think there are more changes that has to be made for 5b. For example the pcie power is set to 1.8v instead of 3.3v https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/arch/arm64/boot/dts/rockchip/rk3588s-orangepi-5.dts#L82-L91 ... I'll try some changes if I have time this weekend and I'll let you know. Thanks.

February 7, 20251 yr Hi all. There's a dts patch for 6.13 now that should enable wifi on the orangepi 5b (https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/main/patch/kernel/archive/rockchip64-6.13/rk3588-1072-arm64-dts-rockchip-add-AP6275P-wifi-to-Orange-Pi-5B.patch). I've build the image, but no wifi here with rk3588s-orangepi-5b.dtb in armbianEnv. armbian-firmware-full is installed. In a previous build I was seeing errors like Quote pcieport 0004:40:00.0: failed to create device link (0x180) with supplier 6-0051 but those seems to be gone now on Linux orangepi5 6.13.1-edge-rockchip64, Ubuntu noble. I would be glad to help with some testing - are we waiting for some mainline fixes, or what could be the showstopper here? I guess this is a PCI issue, as the pcie wifi is not being found? Quote root@orangepi5:~# lspci 0004:40:00.0 PCI bridge: Rockchip Electronics Co., Ltd RK3588 (rev 01) https://paste.next.armbian.com/areqewukum
March 16, 20251 yr Hi, just want to follow up that I'm seeing the same issues as @WimRoose above. On latest mainline 6.13 or 6.14, there is no output about the wifi module in lspci. Consequently, there is no wifi device. This followiing pull request supposedly added support last year, but it does not seem to be working. https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/6486 @BatVankoare you able to bring up wifi on the mainline edge kernel on Orangepi 5B?
