Orangepi 5b ap6275p support for the edge kernel similar to khadas-edge2

Featured Replies

Hi all. There's a dts patch for 6.13 now that should enable wifi on the orangepi 5b (https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/main/patch/kernel/archive/rockchip64-6.13/rk3588-1072-arm64-dts-rockchip-add-AP6275P-wifi-to-Orange-Pi-5B.patch). I've build the image, but no wifi here with rk3588s-orangepi-5b.dtb in armbianEnv. armbian-firmware-full is installed. In a previous build I was seeing errors like

but those seems to be gone now on Linux orangepi5 6.13.1-edge-rockchip64, Ubuntu noble. I would be glad to help with some testing - are we waiting for some mainline fixes, or what could be the showstopper here? I guess this is a PCI issue, as the pcie wifi is not being found?

Hi, just want to follow up that I'm seeing the same issues as @WimRoose above. On latest mainline 6.13 or 6.14, there is no output about the wifi module in lspci. Consequently, there is no wifi device. This followiing pull request supposedly added support last year, but it does not seem to be working.

@BatVankoare you able to bring up wifi on the mainline edge kernel on Orangepi 5B?
