i2cdetect -l i2c-1 i2c rk3x-i2c I2C adapter The i2c-1 device works fine and there is a working sensor attached. Trying to get the i2c-0 device up and running. Added overlays=i2c0 to /boot/armbianEnv.txt but it didn't work. There doesn't appear to be a file with that name so I'm not sure if this doesn't exist or if there is a package that needs to be installed. find / -name '*.dtbo' 2> /dev/null | grep 3308 /boot/overlays/rk3308-uart2.dtbo /boot/overlays/rk3308-uart1.dtbo /boot/overlays/rk3308-uart0.dtbo armbian-config flashes this in the system->hardware menu …

Hello, I have used NanoPi M4v2 with "NVMe SSD adapter" (Officially sold by the FriendlyElec). NVMe SSD is detected when I installed ubuntu based kernel 4.4. (FriendlyCore 18.04 or Armbian Bionic desktop based kernal 4.4.y) But When I installed armbian based kernel 5.x, NVMe SSD is not detected. Anyone can advise?

There seems to be some issue with the very early bootup on the rockpi-S using the dev or current target (not the 4.4 kernel) It hangs and requires a reboot, something like every 4th bootup works. I have a bunch of logs with various errors like: Kernel panic - not syncing: stack-protector: Kernel stack is corrupted in: add_uevent_var+0x12c/0x130 [ccff800010110d58] address between user and kernel address ranges Kernel panic - not syncing: stack-protector: Kernel stack is corrupted in: vsnprintf+0x724/0x728 This usually happens about 2.7 - 2.8 seconds into bootup. I have been building from source with a custom config and this (or something similar) and I believe 5.4 w…

I'm running armbian 10.5 (kernel 5.8.6-rockchip64) on my new NanoPi R2S. I configured it as a router: lan0 (USB ethernet) is the LAN interface, eth0 (real ethernet) is the wan interface, ip forwarding enabled. On the LAN subnet I put a iperf3 client, on the WAN subnet I put a iperf3 server. Launching iperf -c _server_ip_ on the client is ok, I can reach 830Mbps, but launching iperf with -R (reverse) makes the lan0 interface to reset/disconnect. I can find the following logs in the kernel: Sep 8 20:53:32 gw kernel: [ 611.981696] ------------[ cut here ]------------ Sep 8 20:53:32 gw kernel: [ 611.981726] NETDEV WATCHDOG: lan0 (…

Title pretty much summs it up! I had a few problems getting my RockPi 4 to boot anything from SSD, but I did mangage too by compiling the current buster branch as a minimal image. I also created a thread on the radxa forum: https://forum.radxa.com/t/trouble-booting-armbian-from-nvme-ssd/4362 With the current image on the website (buster - server - 5.8.y) my bootlog looks like this: Spoiler DDR Version 1.20 20190314 In channel 0 CS = 0 MR0=0x98 MR4=0x2 MR5=0xFF MR8=0x8 MR12=0x72 MR14=0x72 MR18=0x0 MR19=0x0 MR24=0x8 MR25=0x0 CS = 1 MR0=0x18 MR4=0x3 MR5=0xFF MR8…

FriendlyELEC sells an 11.6inch eDP FHD LCD Display with Capacitive Touch for the nanoPC-T4. I'm trying my hardest to get it working with Armbian. Unfortunately, Armbian doesn't seem to detect the display: root@nanopct4:~# xrandr --listmonitors Monitors: 0 It works in the stock lubuntu image they provide so I'm trying to gather as much configuration information as I can from lubuntu to see what I need to do to get it working. I want to try a few different experiments.. I have a kernel.img file from lubuntu that I'd like to try booting with Armbian but I don't understand uboot very well and simply copying the kernel.img file to /boot under the same name as the e…

Hi. I am trying to use bluetooth with my rock pis but I can't with armbian but debian. With debian I just followed this page and it works. https://wiki.radxa.com/RockpiS/Debian#Bluetooth But I want to work it in armbian. I turn bluetooth on in armbian-config. But "hciconfig" have no result and when I power on bluetooth, it say "No default controller available". So I searched and found it. Is it mean that I need to build a kernel to use bluetooth??

Hi. I was testing pwm with a motor, then my rock pis stopped. After boot, I couldn't see wlan0 in nmtui-connect. So I reinstall fresh armbian, I can see wlan0 again. I do wifi setting with nmtui-connect but after rebooting I can't connect wifi. I have to redo wifi setting with nmtui-connect, put password again and it adds another wifi. It seems like it can't connect to previous wifi. When I do "nmcli con show", I can see the previous wifi but it is deactive. I searched about it and found wifi mac address randomization issue. So I checked "10-override-random-mac-disable.conf". [connection] wifi.mac-address-rando…

I have a new nanopi m4v2 and I downloaded the latest focal version today Armbian_20.08.1_Nanopim4v2_focal_current_5.8.6_desktop.img.xz Boots with uboot successfully, but after showing the message "Starting kernel ...", serial is blank. Green SYS LED glows couple of times and then both LEDs are off. I assume the system has powered off as there are no more signs of being up. I am using the usbttl from friendly elec and a samsung EVO 32G microsd. I am attaching the last uboot logs until "start kernel ..." msg Any clue as to why the board is not booting? m4v2_uboot_log.txt

I have two Rock64 single-board computers running Focal Fossa. One is stable and the other gets segmentation faults when compiling and sometimes a kernel oops. After some searching, my understanding is this can be fixed by slowing down the memory speed by installing rk3328_ddr_333MHz_v1.13.bin from the ayufan-rock64 GitHub repository into uboot along with possibly rk3328_miniloader_v2.46.bin as well. Unfortunately, I'm clueless how to do this. I'm running the latest Armbian Focal Fossa Server from August 19 with the 5.7.17 kernel. Do I need to build a new image or can I patch an existing SD card? I'm sorry if I there is already a thread on this.…

Hi. I've just bought a Rock Pi 4a board, I plan to use it as home server, running stuff like Owncloud, Postfix/Dovecot, Apache, pihole, OpenHab, Emby server etc. I'm thinking of running Armbian on it, but I have absolutely no experience of this dist (I've been managing Debian/Ubuntu servers for many years though). It's going to run headless. I'm wondering what would be the best way to set up disks from an Armbian point of view. My main reason for buying Rock Pi is for the M.2 port, I'm going to put my data on a M.2 disk. Booting from M.2 seems to be tricky though so I'm thinking about booting from micro SD card. I don't want to put any important data or a…

My NanoPi M4V2 is currently being used completely headless just to run a few Docker containers (AdGuard Home, Home Assistant, Zigbee2Mqtt, etc.) and I've been noticing more and more crashes happening... sometimes they occur while I have an open SSH terminal, and I get a glimpse of a "kernel panic" type error... Here's the output from armbianconfig: http://ix.io/2vFX Any ideas on what this is or how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

I always received beacons with Country "US", until I created the file "brcmfmac43456-sdio.xunlong,orangepi-4.txt". Hi, I need some guide and steps required (and if possible) to enable hardware acceleration using FFmpeg. Is the only thing I need since the idea is to use this SBC as Surveillance platform (for example, with Motion+Motioneye or Shinobi). Currencly without hardware accel, using 3 rtsp cams uses each 100% of a core (which translate to 300%). I've searching a lot, but I saw hwaccel with others apps, but not in particular with ffmpeg. I already managed to compile it with --enable-rkmpp (h264_rkmpp hevc_rkmpp vp8_rkmpp vp9_rkmpp) and available hwaccels: vdpau cuda vaapi drm opencl. Any help will be much appreciated. Hello. Good day. I managed to installed Android on the OrangePi RK3399 using the Linux_Upgrade_tool (v 1.49), but, I'm struggling to get the board to boot back to Linux. I created an sdcard from the debian image from the OragenPi website, but, when I try to boot is with the sdcard insert, I get the messages below on the serial terminal. Removing the sdcard boots normally on Android (installed on emmc). Pressing spacebard doesn't do anything during boot. Also, trying to flash the Linux image via the Linux_Upgrade_tool doesn't work (always return a fail). Any ideas how to make this board boot back on Linux? Thank you. DDR Version 1.07 2…

Hello Folks, good day. I have a project where I need to use a OrangePi 4B and couple of hardware pieces connected to it. I'm having trouble putting together a Linux image where I have, at least the minimum functions required for the project working. I need an image where these items below are enable/working: - SPI - I2C - GPIO - PWM - 10.1 MIPI DSI LCD + TOUCH (available here) - MIPI CSI Webcam (OV13850) - 3D Acceleration (WebGL / OpenGl) using the Mali t860 - Bluetooth - Wifi Ideally, I would like to use the most recent Focal mainline kernel, but a legacy image will also be fine. Hello Folks, Good day. I hope you're doing great. I'm trying to make the OrangePI 10.1 inch MIPI DSI (product page) work on the most recent (mainline) Armbian build. I've setup my Armbian build env but I cannot see to find how to enable this MIPI screen on any build options. Hello, I have a rockpi4 whit armbian 20.08.0-trunk.68 nightly (based on debian buster), I have managed to configure all the system whit out problems and I will admit it's of my liking, but there is a problem I cannot solve whit the headphones. I have also tried vanilla debian in the board and the headphones worked perfectly, but whit debian some garbage sound came out even when there was nothing reproducing, witch makes me suspect the headph…

Is there any way/plans to support the FrindlyArm RK3399 SOM in Armbian? Does anyone know the hardware well enough to know if another firmware could be loaded on it? It seems to be a very nice module, and the dev board has just about everything one might want on it. On a side note, possibly derailing my own topic, is there any plans to add any of the VPU patches for the RK3399 and associated software? It seems like support for that is getting pretty close, and it would be great if some of the patches that are floating around could get include in the official distro. I'm about to dive in an try getting at least accelerated ffmpeg working on my M4V2 and/or neo4, …

I am thinking to buy NanoPi M4v2 and i want to use with nvme SSD. RockPi 4 support Gen 2.0. What about NanoPi? NanoPi only support Gen1? And what is the maximum theoretical speed for nvme SSD on NanoPi M4v2 ? I am between NanoPi M4v2 vs RockPi 4 and NanoPc T4. I like NanoPi M4 design and box, I don't like rock pi ssd hat and box, and NanoPc price is expensive, not compact like NanoPi, ram is LPDDR3 others LPDDR4, but x4 lane and support Gen 2.1 is good. I am so confused..

Hi all, today I used rsync to copy some music files from an attached USB drive to my NVME M2 SSD drive and noticed the Nanopi was getting very hot. I have it housed in an official metal case with a fan. The fan didn't come on despite the temperature of 80 + , the case was very hot to the touch. I turned it off in the end in case it got damaged. Any suggestions appreciated. The board is running the latest Buster from here.

I have recently started working with a NanoPi R2S. I have it booting from the built-in microSD. However, I would like to be able to boot off of USB. When I interrupt u-boot and start USB on the board, it finds the hub but does not seem to find *any* device. I have tried various USB sticks of different sizes and brands, and a few ordinary devices such as a mouse. Nothing. Is this a known problem? Should it be able to work? Thanks

Like the title says, when I open armbian-config on my brand new NanoPi M4N2 I don't see a "Hardware" entry in the menu... is this expected? Only reason I wanted to access is to ensure I disable WiFi as I am only using Ethernet. For the record, I'm powering it with a 5V 4A PoE adapter, using a Samsung SD-card flashed with Armbian_20.05.7_Nanopim4v2_buster_current_5.4.49.img. I'm using a 256GB Sabrent M.2 NVME SSD as the main disk (configured via armbian-config), so the SSD card is for initial booting only.

People, help install the system on eMMC Rock Pi 4 Bv 1.3. Installed the system "Arabian_20. 05.4_Rocky-4b_focal_current_5. 4. 46_desktop" on SD, installed eMMC on the Board, started the system and updated it. Then I tried two options for transferring the system to emc: 1) (https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Getting-Started/) sudo nano-sata-install - dd if= / dev/zero of= / dev/mmcblk2 bs=1024 seek=8 count=1; 2) armbian-config - boot from SD, system on SATA / USB. But both options failed. I read here two branches with a discussion of this problem, but I did not succeed. But this is because I am not a very experienced Linux user. Please give me a n…

Hello, nanopc t4 folks, Some, not so long time ago, I worked on fusb302.ko driver and device tree improvements in order to make USB Type-C port working properly in the mainline 5.* kernel. I managed to get DisplayPort over type-C + some general type-c handling improved before my board simply died. Unfortunately, I was not able to finish all the planned work and cannot continue further However, I guess, working DP is already fairly good achievement that might be interesting for many of us. Hereby, I want to publish some patches to the mainline!!! driver and device tree that add missing functionality, so one can get DP+type-C working on NanoPC T4 (and all RK339…

Hi, I was struggling in the Wifi connectivity with following syndromes: 1. Having trouble connecting to 5GHz network by default unless specifying BSSID 2. Will disconnect after a day or so 3. Cannot parse RX packet header properly (and will spamming errors in dmesg) After putting in some efforts, I've found a newer firmware version on GitHub: New Firmware: BCM4356/2 wl0: Apr 18 2017 13:54:43 version 7.35.184.1.r5 (A2 Station/P2P) FWID 01-efd4ca0d Original Firmware: BCM4356/2 wl0: May 14 2014 19:51:52 version 7.35.17 (r477908) FWID 01-2ed3ee81 The NVRAM text file is identical to `brcmfmac4356-sdio-nanopi-m4v2.txt…

I use Armbian_20.05.3_Rockpi-4a_buster_legacy_4.4.213 The armbian kernel version uses 4.4-213 Follow the radxa official installation script: curl -sL https://rock.sh/get-rockpi-penta | sudo -E bash - The output is as follows: I don’t know where the problem is after execution, I still can’t drive it.... It feels like a failure caused by the kernel, it seems that it only supports linux-image-4.4.154-110-rockchip-gcef30e88a9f5 I executed the command to install the kernel: sudo apt-get install linux-4.4-latest Something went wrong. Hi all, is it possible to boot a Nanopi M4 V2 from a NVME M2 ?
-
Hallo, I've been using Armbian on the NanoPi M4 V2 for a while and now I'm thinking about switchen from the legacy kernel to the current kernel. Unfortunately that's not so easy to do when using armbian-config. You could think you can just select the current-kernel in the list but you won't find it there. The reason is simple: the legacy kernel belongs to the rk3399-family and the current kernel is rockchip64. Which is basically the same, but from an organisational point of view it is not (please forgive me if I do not show an adequate technical precision here, the details and the plan to clean that up are explained here). What I would be intereste…

Hi, the latest Bionic Legacy Desktop images for NanoPi M4 V2 (Armbian_20.05.2_Nanopim4v2_bionic_legacy_4.4.213_desktop.img.xz and Armbian_20.05.1_Nanopim4v2_bionic_legacy_4.4.213_desktop.img.xz) do not boot on the board. No green LED. No video output at all. I haven't checked UART. The latest working image is Armbian_20.02.7_Nanopim4v2_bionic_legacy_4.4.213_desktop.7z I have a good power supply (12V 2A, also tried with USB 5V 3A), and a good MicroSD card (high endurance). I did not forget to unXZ the new image file and write it with dd, just as 20.02.7 7z. I've checked the checksum of written data on the MicroSD card, and it equals to the checksu…

Hey folks, So here's the setup I have: I have an Orange Pi 4B running the Orange Pi 4 image and kernel 5.6.17-rockchip64. I have an Orange Pi 4 running the Orange Pi RK3399 image and kernel 5.4.26-rockchip64 (cause when I got it, the Orange Pi 4 images weren't out yet). The OPi4 is running just fine. I imagine that I'm running the wrong DTB and that not all the hardware is working properly -- but the hardware I need is working just fine. The OPi4B is another story. It'll boot just fine, and it'll run just fine for days/weeks on end -- as long as I don't put it under any sort of heavy CPU load. But if I start running anythi…

Hey! I recently accidentally made my eMMC unbootable. I ordered this adapter, but the eMMC isn't getting picked up by any of my microSD adapters. Is there a way to hotplug the eMMC chip while booting from SD, like with the Pinebook Pro (which is also RK3399 based)? I'd really like to either repair or clear the eMMC so i could continue using it. Thanks!

Hi, Around the forums, I've seen that some people have been successful in running the lima driver on Amlogic or Allwinner hardware: https://forum.armbian.com/topic/14180-bananapro-lima-driver-problems/ https://forum.armbian.com/topic/11424-playing-with-limamesa-mali-drivers/ However, I couldn't seem to find any posts with Rockchip hardware, specifically the ROCK64. I tried to enable it myself by doing the following, but was unsuccessful so far. enable kernel module lima via "sudo modprobe lima" update /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/01-armbian-defaults.conf as below per the lima wiki instructions (also tried w/o the "Device" secti…

Received my SBC today, installed armbian and run quick tests Runs very hot (in stock yellow case). Throttles under load and can not run at full 1500Mhz Below results on armbian measured with armbianmonitor -m power measured from the wall 71C / 2.5W / 600Mhz idle 85C / 3.7W / 1000Mhz under load (stress -c 4) I also tested without case and results are better but still it throttles under full load. Ambient temperature was about 25C Is this just me and my unit has faulty heatsink or you also observe similar results? Any ideas on how to fix this? I see there is a fan header on the board but no fan installed, just the heatsink, but…

Hi all, This has confused me! I have an old copy Armbian_20.02.7_Nanopim4_buster_current_5.4.28_desktop.7z which works fine. Any SD cards I put it on using Balena Etcher works. Any of the latest versions simply won't boot. The only difference appears to be the XZ file format. I extracted one of the later ones using 7Zip and then Etcher to flash and as expected it mad no difference at all. Has something been done to the V1 firmware from the V2 that doesn't work or firmwares containing the wrong naming etc? Help!

Hi, I was testing images for Orange Pi 4 w/o eMMC, official from site, Debian and Ubuntu from ARMbian, and suddenly any boots anymore. I tried desperately everything, write with another program, used dd for copy, pressed randomly bottoms attached in the back, then one time worked, but it crashed when i attached a keyboard. Later all my micro-sd cards worked, most of them are poor quality, could be that but idk, my power adapter came from official website. # ls usb doesn't show hid I have a cp2012 usb to tll, i can use it for serial debug ?

I'm working on a project using the nanopim4v2-current image. I noticed an issue with the available HDMI output resolutions. Only a select few resolutions are available, despite the connected screen advertising support for additional ones. I was also unable to output a custom resolution (for example 1920x538) by adding the proper modeline in manually through xrandr. I've been looking into this for a bit and managed to find a partial solution in Miouyouyou's recent pull request "[RFC] RK3288 : Add HDMI resolutions". Adding the patches to my build enabled support for my monitor's native resolution (1920x1200) and allowed me the ability to output custom resol…

EDIT: I hate to have to admit this, but I completely forgot that the nanopi m4 v2 needs external antennas for its wifi to operate properly. Hi - trust this is the right forum. I have forgotten the login password to my Arbian installation on the nanopi m4 V2. It boots from the eMMC just fine, but I am stuck at the prompt. I had only just installed it a few weeks ago (then things got hectic), so nothing really invested - I could just install again via the SD card, right? Unfortunately, it looks like the SD slot is no longer working. In the last 2-3 days nothing seems to boot from it. Which leaves me with an eMMC module loaded up with an Armbian - I think its bionic, because it does have wifi (buster never worked with wifi). In other 'vanilla' flavours of of l…

Hi everyone, I'm trying to get 4k output from my NanoPi M4. I have tried (using a Steamlink HDMI cable) directly connected to my TV (to eliminate my receiver as a point of failure/bugs) to get something to output to the screen in 4k. I haven't succeeded. What information I've gathered so far: There are two "vops" a big and little, and the little one is not designed to, and cannot output 4k (there was a patch hacking that into vopl but I never dared test it and can't find it now). There was this change setting the maximum resolution to 4k in a file/subdirectory I cannot find in recent kernels anymore: https://patchwork.ozlabs.org…

Hello all, After some time without touching it, I came back to my Rockpi 4B. I installed the latest armbian bionic image on a samsung 64Go card. All seems to work fine for the first boot. But when I try to restart the system I don't get any display on screen. To get it back I need to unplug HDMI plug and re-plug it. Didn't found any conversation about that trouble? Is it a bug or is there something I can do to fix it ? Thanks for your answers. Pat

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I'm not an expert with this. I have the M4V2 with metal case. I downloaded Armbian_20.02.7_Nanopim4v2_bionic_legacy_4.4.213_desktop.7z and burned the IMG to one of my spare M4 eMMc Problem is that the eMMC does not boot and does nothing So I tried another M4 eMMC and exactly the same thing. So I burned the img to an SD card and it boots fine. But I cannot see the eMMC AT ALL, lsblk does not show it Is it possible the M4 eMMC is NOT compatible ( I dont' think so or I would have seen in my searches) OR I did something wrong ? Or missed a step I don't remember having this with my M4 ? Thanks in …

Hi, I want to do a NAS RAID(4,1) with the M4 with SATA hat. This thing is f... damned fast with SAMBA. I meassured 60MB/s with a 1.5TB 2.5" drive I had just laying around. OK, I forgot to mention that I installed Armbian. It's been three years since my last attempt to build a useful PC with AARCH64 and many things happened meanwhile. Looks like the time has come finally. (To say good bye to x86 and Windows.) Can someone point me to a direction before I gonna buy four SSDs?

Hi all, first off, I love my NanoPiM4V2 boards, the big drawback with them for me is backing them up, if you are running them from an eMMC and you have the board in a case, you have to remove the cover of the case, if you have a hat ( which I do ) you also have to remove that , then you can remove the eMMC module and clone or do whatever with it. What would be good for me, is, if I could temporarily boot from an sdcard , unmount the eMMC, and clone it for backup purposes. Before I ruin anything I thought I'd ask the experts. Is this doable ?

Hi, I have one silly problem developing a FBTFT device driver for SSD1322 display : https://github.com/MarkoBursic/fbtft---SSD1322/blob/master/fb_ssd1322.c The initialisation starts OK, all GPIOs (DC, RESET, CS) follows as they should, since the data is sent through a function write_reg. For example : write_reg(par, 0xA0, 0x14, 0x11); It asserts DC low, then sends 0xA0, then asserts DC high and sends 0x14 and 0x11. Within every sent character (8bit bata) the CS toggles. The problem becomes when I want to send video data, I guess a function write_vmem is called. But here the entire tx buffer is filled and then streamed. for (y =…

I want to use the mainline u-boot spl to load the u-boot proper(u-boot.itb) from nvme, so that the only part off the nvme is the tpl/spl in the emmc/sd/spi flash. But their pcie driver(https://github.com/radxa/u-boot/commit/096f2c16bbfa24c93a4c87e31334d5b5064dfd0a) has a limitation: It can not be used in u-boot spl, or it would not function properly in u-boot proper and fail the boot. After some frustrating tryings and compare with the linux driver, I found that the port initialization proce…

Hi all, I have been using a Rock64 with hostapd and a usb adapter that uses realtek drivers for a couple of months now. Recently, like a week or two, after what i believe was a kernel update i started getting random freezes in the board. As i use it "headless", when it happens the only way to get it back working is by power cycling it. This means that until today i had no logs of what was happening. Today although, i left my laptop on for a couple hours, with tail -f on kernel.log, messages and syslog. Attached in the file called logs.txt is what i managed to obtain from a terminated ssh session to the board. Im running Linux NetMa…

I'm trying to run Armbian on Orange Pi RK3399 board. I have TP50265 permanently shorted to the ground to enable SD card booting. The board starts without any problems with Debian and Ubuntu images downloaded from the manufacturer website, e.g. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wAdkC25BmjMwapWahEEQGTvi-yuwo8Gx after the above, kernel boots and the system starts perfectly. However, when I try the images downloaded from Armbian website (both, based on the old kernel, like https://dl.armbian.com/orangepi-rk3399/archive/Armbian_20.02.1_Orangepi-rk3399_bionic_legacy_4.4.213_desktop.7z and the new ones, like https://dl.armbian…

Hi all, So if a lot of you maybe know is a heatsink and fan a must for the OrangePi 4. With my temporarly installed fan makes a lot of noise i maked yesterday the step to order a Noctua NF-A4x20 5V PWM. The price was arround €17,- not the cheapest but te reviews are amazing. Even on full speed its a lot more silence then the 20x20 mini fan but with a good air flow. But as you could read did i choose for a PWM variant so i could control the rpm´s with a PWM GPIO pin. And amazingly it did work! I have the PWM pin connected to pin 7 of the OrangePi 4. Commands to start pwm for the first time: cd /sys/class/pwm/pwmchip1/ echo 0 …

Hi. Every few days I've been noticing that my monitor just goes blank. The machine keeps running but nothing I do will restore the display. Even if I try to visit another virtual terminal, nothing, still blank. I can ssh to the machine but no command will allow me to restore the display. The only way I get the display back is to reboot the machine. This can't be normal. I'd love it for someone to help get to the heart of this problem. Thank you.

Amrbian does not seem to turn on the NanoPC-T4 fan. I searched the information and turned on the fan on my NanoPC-T4. cd /sys/class/gpio sudo sh -c "echo 150 > export" cd gpio150 sudo sh -c "echo out > direction" sudo sh -c "echo 1 > value" # Fan Is ON. AND sudo sh -c "echo 0 > value" # Fan Is OFF.

I've built everything into the kernel that I can think of: Device Drivers ---> [*] USB support --> [*] USB Type-C Support --> ** built everything other than alternative mode / display port drivers [*] PHY Subsystem ---> ... [*] Rockchip TYPEC PHY Driver Nothing seems to get it working (other than using the legacy kernel). If I plug in a USB type-c ethernet adapter, the light stays on solid but nothing shows up under lsusb.. I'm not sure what else to try. Any help would be appreciated.
